Shadiyah is a full time professional Middle Eastern/Belly Dance artist based in
Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia. Performing nationally and locally, Shadiyah delights audiences with her graceful, elegant
and culturally authentic performances. Enhance your special day even more with a wonderful and exciting family friendly Middle Eastern Dance performance! Shadiyah specializes in ethnic weddings and parties, including the traditional Egyptian Zeffa (Shamadan) & Raghse Chaghoo (Persian Knife dance), and is available to perform for many events including embassies, concerts, corporate events, art galleries, cultural events, bridal showers, engagements, birthday parties for adults & children, all female gatherings, graduations, Quincenera’s, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and more! Shadiyah may be seen performing weekly at select area restaurants & shows from Baltimore, Gaithersburg, Frederick and Georgetown to Ashburn, Fairfax and Richmond. She has performed at the John F. Kennedy Center Millenium Stage, for Ambassadors, international celebrities and in NY, CA, TX and FL as well as performed and taught on the Queen Elizabeth II Ocean Liner. Shadiyah’s Vintage Cabaret styling is based in the Egyptian and Lebanese traditions while incorporating Persian, Turkish and Indian dance forms. A local favorite in the Persian community, her specialties also include Persian dance along with various tray and balancing dances with or without fire & floor work as well as Wings of Isis, cane, sword, zills, veil & Shamadan. Shadiyah fuses all these beautiful art forms into a style uniquely her own that captivates audiences.
