Who's Behind Apsara Events LLC Owner and Principal Planner, Sokha Im, earned her BA in Marketing/International Business from USF and quickly gained experience in project management, fundraising, and event coordination ranging from international trade missions, business meetings, client appreciation events, corporate and social functions. Sokha has had privileged to produce events for local and national dignitaries including US Army General David Petraeus, Florida Governor Bob Martinez, US Representative Kathy Castor and Senator Bob Graham. She has also served as Executive Director for the Asian-American Coalition of Florida, a Not-for-Profit organization over the past 5 years. She realized several years ago though that her passion has always been with wedding and social planning, so she made the leap to start her own business. In a short timeframe, Sokha has gain praise amongst the wedding industry professionals and began specializing in Indian/South Asian weddings. Sokha has been featured in Style Me Pretty Florida and A Love Thing blog.
