I was born and raised in Rhode Island. I am a graduate of Roger Williams University. I work full time and am a caring wife and mother. My love for photography began when my oldest child was born. It was solidified with the birth of my second child just a short time later. The moment each of them arrived I was struck with the realization that I wanted to re-live each memory that I had with them forever. The more time I spent trying to freeze each moment in time, the more aware I became of the importance of doing so. I began taking photos of the smallest milestones which of course developed into the major ones. I realized quickly that I had a gift to share when family and friends began coming to me for their children's portraits. Soon after, I began taking photography courses and found that this "work" is what truly makes my heart sing. I'd like to capture just one special moment in of your life. My goal is to have it followed by another, and then yet another. My hope is that together, we will have captured a lifetime of memories to be celebrated for generations to come. If you are looking at these photos and thinking, I need to lose 5 lbs or I would never look like that, please stop! Every client has something about herself that she doesn't love. For me, it's my stomach. (I'm going to get back into pre-baby shape sometime soon!) Don't think twice about it! I am a professional, I use flattering posing and lighting techniques to accentuate the features you love and distract from those you don't love as much. Building trust with you is important to me. We will meet in person, or chat via Google hangout, and iron out all of the details of your session. We will discuss everything from outfits to props and I will get all of the details of everything you want to accomplish with your session. On your session day, I will have you meet me at the hotel suite for your professional hair and makeup session with my amazing makeup artist. The music will be playing, the conversation will be great, and the excitement will be building! I start all of my sessions with some beautiful portraits that you would be proud to display on your mantel or your FB profile picture. From there we move onto the more intimate poses and outfits. You can be as sexy or as conservative as you want. Does your significant other love a certain team or hobby? Awesome, we will plan it in the session. No special requests? That's ok too, grab a shirt or tie, a bed sheet...the possibilities are endless. The fun doesn't end when your session ends. I will meet with you within two weeks of your session for a viewing session. You get to snack on decadent desert while you ooh and ahh over your finished gallery and choose the products that best suit your needs. I offer everything from luxurious leather albums to large wall art and everything in between. Some ladies book for a significant other, some do it to celebrate a milestone or a life changing event, others are celebrating reaching a goal...whatever your reason starts out as, it all ends with the same result, you seeing how beautiful you really, truly are.
