Chosen as the #7 Creative Photojournalist in the World by the Artistic Guild of Wedding Photojournalists in 2009. Brooke Mayo Photography consists of my associate Carrie Roen and myself. In addition to a fine arts degree in photography, I have trained with world-renowned portrait and dance photographers from Australia to New York City. Carrie and myself have recently been featured in international publications such as Grace Ormonde, Destination Weddings and Honeymoons and Bride Magazine and have received numerous awards from The Wedding Photojournalist Association. We are dedicated to weddings and have made this our focus and our passion.
Founded in 1726, Brunswick was the first town established in the Cape Fear region. A seat of government and the epicenter of the colonyâ??s overseas trade, Brunswick secured its place in history by serving as the location of the Stamp Act Resistance, the first known successful armed rebellion against British authority in America. Brunswick met its fate in 1776, when the town was burned by British troops and never rebuilt. It lay nearly undisturbed until 1862, when Confederate forces began construction on Fort St. Philips, and later the massive earthworks of Fort Anderson. Today Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson is one of North Carolinaâ??s State Historic Sites. Hidden amongst the live oaks and Spanish moss on the western bank of the Cape Fear River, we welcome you to explore this serene and tranquil waterfront setting.

Cakes by Faith was created out of a desire to help others in need. My friend, Eileen Shuff, had been diagnosed with stage 4 brain and lung cancer. She and her husband did not have health insurance, so after much prayer, Cakes by Faith was started. A portion of our proceeds are donated to their ministry. We specialize in birthdays, baby and bridal showers, church fundraisers, anniversaries, and weddings. Cakes by Faith bakes all of our cakes and cupcakes from scratch
