My name is Robert Christopher, I am a lover of crime dramas, sci-fi, cooking, coffee, music, and traveling. In my spare time, I volunteer for various causes in the Charlotte area and mentor aspiring photographers in developing their photographic vision. Though I have been involved with photography, since I was a child, it has only been the last eleven years that I have considered myself a professional photographer. My very first camera was a Polariod which I used often on family gatherings and vacations. I am deeply moved by the photography of Ansel Adams, and Gordan Park. I strongly believe in the power of the photographic narrative. I describe my style as a blend of photojournalism and artistic. If I had one philosophy, which governs my life it could be summarized by Ralph Waldo Emerson when he said, â??To laugh often and love much... to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to give one's self... this is to have succeeded.â? My success depends on developing a photographic narrative that you will treasure for all time. That is why my motto as a photographer is your story, is my passion.

However, for destination weddings we charge a fee depending on where the event is located. Formerly a Catholic church, this beautifully-restored, 1847 venue is located in the heart of historic downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. Our exposed brick walls, stained glass windows, high ceilings and balcony loft make Saint Thomas a perfect backdrop for your wedding festivities. We accomodate ceremonies and receptions for up to 200 seated guests. Our rental rate includes tables and chairs for all 200 and use of the facility for 18 hours so that you can set up and decorate all day at no extra charge. Our downstairs cocktail room and bridal suite are popular features, allowing you to hold both your ceremony and reception in one venue.

The Sanderling Resort and Spa located in Duck, NC on the Atlantic Ocean and Currituck Sound is the only full service resort in the Outer Banks. Our experienced wedding coordinators and recommended vendors will assist with every aspect of your destination wedding. The Resort sits on a beautiful stretch of beach perfect for beach ceremonies. The Main Inn deck and Oceanside Lawn are other ceremony location options that will hold 2 to 225 people. The Soundside Pavilion with private gazebo and breathtaking sunsets is a popular reception location that can accommodate 65 people and up to 225 people with additional tenting. The Oceanside Lawn can be tented for a reception along with the Swan/Heron room and deck area. Smaller spaces are available for 20-50 people that may be looking for a bridal lunch or rehearsal dinner location.
