Catharine Morris is a wedding photographer based in Southern NH who serves all of New England and beyond. Catharine graduated from the Center for Digital Imagaing arts at Boston University in January of 2009, but started photographing weddings in 2007 when she enrolled in photography school. With over 200 weddings under her belt there is no question that Catharine is an experienced photographer who is passionate about story telling and capturing moments that often get missed by brides and grooms. On a wedding day she will keep things moving quickly, always changing scenery, location to make sure all the photos taken are unique. Her approach is simple. Capture the day from start to finish and tell a story. Offer two photographers to capture different angles at the same time. Prepare couples for the expected and sometimes unexpected. Capture every friend and family member interacting. Make sure all photos requested are taken. Finally, provide amazing photos with a quick turn around time in both color and black and white. Looking for the ideal DJ for your special day? Somebody who will meet with you at your venue, to work with you to create the perfect amount of sound and lighting to create the ambiance you desire? I am CJ the DJ and I have sixteen years experience as a DJ for weddings. From outdoor barbecues to elegant inn settings, I have had requests for every genre of music - from country to reggae, classical to the wedding classics. I book up to two years in advance, don't raise my prices for the holiday weekends, & everyone gets local discounts on Fridays & Sundays. My first wedding was sixteen years ago, & it was for a gay couple from Vermont having the first civil unions; you can see videos from the reception in the PBS After Stonewall series. One of the groom's sons was my first second generation wedding a decade later. Last year, in 2012, I was DJ for the historic wedding of Jim Ready & Rep. Barney Frank. With almost 400 guests, the Massachusetts Governor as the officiant & a star studded guest list, it was an amazing opportunity. I will never forget when Barney came up to me and said, "CJ, can I get a Jitterbug for Nancy & me?" You can find Pelosi dancing on Youtube and an article about the event if you Google me and the Boston Globe. In my years I have had live musicians, groups, singers, dry ice for first dances, fireworks, and all types of unique circumstances. Having had foster children with disabilities, I am thoughtful when working with veterans who may be amputees or people in wheelchairs, picking the music accordingly. $1200 for a New England wedding ($200 savings for military or within 30 miles locally), including all equipment, lighting, DJ, and MC! I only charge $200 for additional set-ups, for ceremony music or a separate location cocktail hour.
