Margo began constructing garments 42 years ago at the age of 10. She spent most days and all her summers making garments to wear to school for the next day. In elementary school, Margo started a small business by sewing for a local band and a few other people. She was somewhat of a rebel way back then. Her home economics teacher informed her mother that she would not wait for instructions like the other students. In High school she took a TAILORING and PATTERNMAKING course. Her teacher recommended her for an APPRENTICE position at a local business that made CUSTOM WEDDING GOWNS, FORMALS and TUXEDOS. Right after high school she joined the Army . Shortly after she started her own business in her home while working as a SEAMSTRESS for various companies around town. She was always being called out for going over and above all while making her customers happy. She still has that same approach in business today. After arriving in Texas in 1984, Margo slowly began to build her clientele until she was able to open her first storefront in Dallas. She began by sewing everything from A to Z and soon found out that working with BRIDES was what she loved the most. Her calling had finally become clear to her.
