The Savory Spoon is a full service off premise catering company. We specialize in providing innovative cuisine and comfort food with attitude! All of our food is made with fresh ingredients...local and organic whenever possible. We use hormone-free meats and dairy products as well. We are partnering with local farmers so we can offer the "cream of the crop" to our clients while supporting local agriculture. We are constantly seeking local food artisans to provide us with organic sauces, jams and spice combinations to keep the menu exciting and "Extra Yummy"! We grow our own fresh herbs and even have our own coffee blend, which is certified organic and fair-traded. The Savory Spoon Blend coffee can be purchased by the pound at Dublin Roasters in Frederick, MD. We can also add custom labels to small bags of coffee to use as personal party favors for your shower, rehearsal dinner or wedding reception! Our kitchen is located at 285 Montevue Lane in Frederick, MD, behind The Clustered Spires Pastry Shop. We can meet with you there to discuss the details of your event. There is also rental space available on the premises for smaller parties if you are seeking a place to hold a luncheon or meeting. We are fully insured and licensed to deliver freshly prepared cuisine right to your home, office or venue. Our hand-picked full service staff is ready to accommodate every type and size of affair professionally and wih a genuine love for what we do! We can provide bartenders, on-site chefs, full set-up and decorating services. We provide our own commercial grade serving equipment in most cases, and we have huge collection of serving vessels ranging from Shabby Chic and vintage pieces to recycled glass and bamboo pieces. We will customize everything to suit your theme and/or color scheme. When additional equipment and rentals are required, our preferred vendors are Premier Event Rentals and Grand Rental Events.
