Nestled on a private 40-acre estate in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, our historic 18th century plantation house and surrounding cottages feature eleven rooms and suites with a unique blend of chic and elegant 'urban meets plantation'? style, exceptional world-class amenities and gracious southern charm. The Barn and adjoining Ruins offer approximately 6,400 combined square feet of indoor/outdoor space, which can accommodate up to 190 seated for dinner, even more for cocktails. Clad with custom stonework and painted a signature red, The Barn is a picture of rustic charm. Inside, this 3,100 square-foot state of the art space is exquisite with soaring reclaimed wood ceilings, grand Palladian windows with beautiful wooded views and a massive stone fireplace. French doors leading out to the veranda frame picturesque scenery and provide additional space for cocktails and seating. The adjacent Ruins are the remains of the stone foundation of an antique bank barn building. Surrounded by beautiful hand-restored stone walls, this tented 2,900 square-foot open-air space is the ideal outdoor expansion for any celebration. The Hall is our more intimate space. With seating for up to 52 guests, this elegant room is decorated with the same chic and artful flair found in the Inn's rooms and suites, complete with coffered ceiling, modern zinc tables and custom chocolate leather chairs. Surrounded on all sides by french doors leading to the gardens and slate porches, this room is full of sunshine. In stormier weather The Hall is just as lovely; against one wall you will find an immense gas fireplace that infuses the room with warmth and charm. For your ceremony, the Boxwood Garden is a picture of country elegance. With a brick walkway leading to a custom pergola that is surrounded by century-old boxwoods, towering holly, magnolia and oak trees, and planted with flowers that bloom in white, the Boxwood Garden is a spectacular setting for an outdoor ceremony in any season. Catering at The Inn at Willow Grove is just as spectacular as the setting. Executive Chef Daniels brings his masterful, creative and innovative farm-to-table cuisine to his seasonal catering menus.
