Background: Dave has played the piano for 30 years, 15 professionally. After building a strong foundation through classical piano study, he ventured into improvisation and composition in his early 20s. He obtained his BM in Jazz Studies from Webster University, studying with the legendary Carolbeth True. Dave is recognized by musicians and audiences as a top St. Louis Pianist. His virtuosic technique and his clear, melodic style makes musicians desire to play with him and audiences love to hear him. He regularly plays with his own trio, with vocalist, Heather Matthews, as well as with the Nu Element Jazz Ensemble and the Usual Suspects.
