Host your wedding, rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, engagement party, or bachelor party in style on the Pride! The Pride is an authentic stern-driven paddle wheeler, built 20 years ago as a community service project by the Harrisburg Area Riverboat Society for the benefit of the people of and visitors to the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area. The Riverboat Society is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), organization headed by a voluntary Board of community leaders. The purpose of our organization includes increased tourism, economic development and enhanced education regarding the history and ecology of the Susquehanna River and our region. Since her construction and launch under the leadership of local businessman Mike Trephan, The Pride has carried more than a half-million passengers. She's been used for business meetings, private parties, weddings, classic dinner cruises and the ever-popular Murder Mystery Dinner Cruises, Wine and Cheese Cruises, Crab Cruises, Pirates on the Pride Cruises, Wing Night Cruises, and much more. More recently The Pride, as the Susquehanna River School, has been used as a floating classroom.
