The concept for Intimately Yours Weddings began when I was planning a wedding for my oldest daughter. ?To save money, I did everything myself - I sewed the bridesmaids dresses, I learned how to make bouquets and boutonnieres, and I took a cake making course. I loved being creative and it was so much fun! When friends and family saw what I had done, they enthusiastically encouraged me to become a wedding planner. ?That idea certainly appealed to me, so I took a course and became a certified wedding planner, and then I became a member of the Association of Wedding Consultants.
Since then, I have collected almost everything necessary to give a bride a small, intimate wedding, even on short notice. I have chairs and chair decor, pedestals, floral arrangements and wreaths, a decorated arch, an aisle runner, bouquets and boutonnieres, invitations, wedding gowns and veils, bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses and a ring bearer tux. I also have candelabras and votive candles, tables and table decorations, and catering equipment. I even have the rice for throwing! And one day.....I aim to have my own chapel.
I believe that every bride should have beautiful wedding memories, and it doesn't have to cost thousands of dollars. ?It only has to be personable. Don't settle for some ho-hum ritual in a cold, sterile courthouse office surrounded by strangers. Let me make your wedding Intimately Yours.
