Who We Are
The Country Barn is one of the most unique rustic barn wedding venues in Lancaster County, featuring an elegant yet rustic barn wedding experience. In 2005, The Country Barn held its first wedding. Farmer Jim (owner of the Country Barn) decided to pursue his dream of having weddings in this barn and began the complete restoration process in the winter of 2006/2007. Today, the Country Barn located at the main address and the Manor View Barn across the road, are completely restored and are ideal locations for a rustic barn wedding in Lancaster, PA. Through the restoration process, Farmer Jim was sure to keep the historic elements of the barns intact. These two barn locations host multiple unique rustic barn weddings a weekend. What We Do
Imagine escorting your guests down a cobblestone walk into a historic 1866 barn built from brick and stone. Enter into a softly lit banquet room with wooden beams and handmade farm tables. Serve your guests a delicious meal that is designed by you and the Country Barn staff and prepared with all natural meats, and fresh, in season produce raised on our farm. Then dance the night away on our beautifully finished hardwood floors.
Here at Country Barn Weddings we can work with you on providing everything you need to make the rustic barn wedding of your dreams come to life. We offer two different venue options in our main barn and a second finished barn – totaling 3 options to choose from for your rustic barn wedding. Both barns offer central air for the comfort of our guests. We have tables, chairs, linens, china, punch fountains, beautiful lighting and more to create the kind of atmosphere you are looking for. Our in-house catered and delicious meals are made with fresh meats and vegatables raised right on our farm. Our spacious barns can accomodate both your ceremony and reception, or you can host your outdoor ceremony on our beautifully landscaped grounds and courtyards. Our very own Manor View Inn provides lodging for out-of-town guests. Brides often reserve a room to use as a dressing room and newlyweds may opt to stay the night after their wedding. If you are looking for a place to have your ceremony, talk with us about reserving the beautiful grounds of the Manor View Inn for an outdoor ceremony or our two barn spaces – one for your ceremony and one for your reception. The grounds of the Inn and the beautiful farm backdrop provide beautiful locations for your wedding photography.
We can also arrange for unique additions upon request – carriage rides, camp fires, hay rides, live bands, wedding tents, kids activities and more.
