Anticipation Events is a boutique event planning firm specializing in weddings, social occasions, and special events. Prior to founding Anticipation Events in 2009, Elizabeth Tulipana worked as an event planner for four years at one of Chicago's most beloved cultural institutions. In early 2009 she left her job to travel in South America for six months; after scaling the Andes, traversing the jungle, and swimming with sea turtles, she came back to Chicago with the guts to go at it on her own. Elizabeth graduated from Miami University (Ohio) with a bachelor's degree in communications, and has another degree in fashion marketing at the Illinois Institute of Art. She lives in Chicago's Bucktown neighborhood with her ornery dog, Walter.
