Three words describe why the historic Sacramento Grand Ballroom, which is currently managed by Event Architects, is the ideal venue for all kinds of gatherings: Size, Location, and Ambiance. With over 6,000 sq. ft. of space, it can accommodate 125-420 guests for a seated event, and up to 600 guests for a cocktail-style event. The facility is located in downtown Sacramento, near many of the major hotels, including the Citizen, Sheraton Grand, Holiday Inn, and Hyatt. It serves as a perfect setting for weddings and wedding receptions, and is right down the street from the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament and a few blocks from the California State Capitol Park. Built in 1912, the Ballroom has 45-foot, gold leafed ceilings, and beautiful chandeliers that capture this unique time period…coupled with all the necessities for modern celebrations. In order to ensure that our clients get a one of a kind event, we offer in-house rentals and catering, or the option for our clients to bring in their own chosen vendors. We can provide full-service wedding planning on-site, or minimal planning if our clients prefer. For business meetings and corporate events, we have professional meeting planners on staff and the Ballroom building has smaller rooms available.
