About us... We began Gypsy Sol Makeup Artistry with the belief that the journey to true beauty begins within, and our products and expertise are designed to give that beauty a face! We believe that all woman are one-of-a-kind and your makeup should always mirror that! The way you wear your makeup says a lot about who you are and we want to help your inner beauty radiate, especially on your wedding day, by customizing a look that is just right for you. Gypsy Sol Makeup Artistry is a team of highly experienced and professional makeup artists offering on-site makeup services for every occasion! *Although Gypsy Sol does not provide hair services, we have many great recommendations!* About Sydni... Coming from a family of extraordinary artists, Sydni Harrison, owner of Gypsy Sol, has always been passionate about all things beautiful! Inspired by her surroundings, Sydni realized at a very young age that she wanted to make a career out of embracing her artistic ability to enhance and embellish natural beauty! By 17 years of age, Sydni had already successfully graduated from Cosmetology school and was ready to move on to bigger and better things-- NYC! Eager to learn more about the beauty industry, Sydni was accepted into the Fashion Make-up Artistry program at MUD in Soho, where she gained education and experience in makeup for high-definition television, print photography, bridal, film, theater and more! While living in the big apple, Sydni traveled all over the city working as a freelance makeup artist perfecting her craft! In 2007, Sydni was offered a job with MAC in her home state of Maryland, little did she know the opportunities that were to follow. Six years later, she is proud of all of her accomplishments with MAC, as she is advanced certified and has held many different positions from retail manager, impact team member, seminar facilitator and product knowledge specialist. After almost a decade of working with clients of all ages and races, you can rest assured that Sydni and her hand-picked team of artists will meet and exceed all of your beauty expectations on your special day! About our studio... We have our very own makeup studio in Sykesville, MD that is the perfect spot for your bridal consultation! We are located less than 30 minutes from Baltimore, Columbia, Frederick, Towson and Westminster! Make a "girls day" out of your makeup consultation by spending the day in Sykesville with your maid-of-honor or bridesmaids and enjoy local restaurants and a unique shopping experience in our boutique, Gypsy Systers, where we can customize jewelry and special gifts for you and your bridal party!
