In 2000, I became a wedding officiant at the request of a dear friend who asked me to create a loving, warm and fun ceremony. Mind you I was working in healthcare account management and sales and was not sure whether I could make sure that her wedding ceremony was as special as it should be. Using the tools I learned in sales coupled with an ability to get to know people and a knack for creative writing, my very first officiant duty was a rousing success! Since then, I have performed weddings for friends and family. Each couple has a unique story to share about how they have arrived to a most special day - their Wedding Day. I am passionate about working to understand that story and craft a ceremony and/or vows that are imbued with their spirit, their love, their joy, and always important - laughter. I encourage couples to include their families in the ceremony.
