We're passionate about the process. From big weddings to small dinner parties we help every step of the way. It's about more than flowers, linens, budgets and timelines--it's about memories that last. And the process should be painless. Who are we? In 2003, Jennifer Arezzo left her job as a corporate event planner to start a wedding and event planning company: A Simple Wish. For eight years A Simple Wish helped hundreds of couples plan stunning weddings. We won several awards along the way including Northern Virginia Magazine's Best Wedding Planner 2009, Wedding Wire's Bride's Choice Award, and The Knot's Best of Weddings. Jennifer was even chosen by The Knot to plan their DC Market Party in 2006. From 2011-2013, Jennifer took a hiatus from wedding and event planning to spend more time with her children. When she rediscovered her passion for planning she realized it was time to "turn over a new leaf,' and A New Leaf Weddings & Events was born.
